recommend.

Enjoy the world-class cuisine in the comfort
of The St. Regis Aspen. During the summer, dine under the sun and stars
in our courtyard garden, enjoying views of Aspen Mountain. Chef Todd
English brings his signature Mediterranean-inspired cuisine from Boston
to the mountains. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cajun
The Ute City Bar and Grill - 501 East Hyman
Avenue, 920-4699
Visit Cajun country in the Rockies. This longtime hangout has converted
its once Colorado-inspired menu to reflect the hot and sassy foods of
the bayou.
Casual Dining
Bentley's - 105 South Mill Street, 920-2021
Located in the Wheeler Opera Building, this Victorian-style pub features
American fare and a wide selection of beers, and is a popular hangout.
Boogie's Diner - 535 East Cooper Avenue, 925-6610
50's style diner featuring burgers, sandwiches, heart-healthy meals
and soda fountain treats. Great for the whole family!
Hickory House - 730 West Main Street, 925-2313
Genuine American food and BBQ in a casual setting and a popular breakfast
spot. Located right at the entry of Aspen, and features a very rustic
décor.
Little Annie's Eating House - 517 East Hyman
Avenue, 925-1098
Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar serving hamburgers, barbecued
ribs, chicken, soups and salads. Grab the kids and put on your rib-bibs!
Main Street Bakery - 201 East Main Street,

Delicious breakfasts and pastries! Also offers light lunches and outdoor
seating.
New York Pizza - Upstairs on the Hyman Street
Mall, 920-3088
Fresh pizzas, whole or by the slice, sandwiches and salads. Open for
lunch, dinner and late night. Take-out and delivery available.
Poppycock's - 609 East Cooper Avenue, 925-1245
A lively, popular place for breakfast and lunch. Wide selection of eggs,
sandwiches and smoothies.
Wienerstube - 633 East Hyman Avenue, 925-3357
Authentic Austrian cuisine in a very casual atmosphere. A local favorite
for breakfast and lunch, outside dining in the summer.
Woody Creek Tavern - 0002 Woody Creek Plaza,

A real Colorado western bar with unique décor. A hang out place
for everybody - from the cowboys to the movie stars. American and Mexican
food!

The Century Room at the Hotel Jerome - 330

Located in historic Hotel Jerome, the Century Room features Colorado
cuisine served in a comfortable elegant Victorian dining room.

An eclectic mix of cuisine from curry to couscous, pasta to perch. American,
Italian and Asian influences can be found in the pages of the menu.

Jimmy's American Restaurant and Grill - 205
South Mill Street, 925-6020
Jimmy's serves "fierce American food", including fish, lobster,
steak and chops. Jimmy's also usually offers weekend entertainment and
dancing. The bar is a favorite local's spot for drinks and appetizers.
Krabloonik - Snowmass, 923-3953
Located in Snowmass, Krabloonik offers casual elegant dining with a
rustic décor and panoramic views, specializing in wild game.
Krabloonik offers half-day dogsled rides in the morning and afternoon
in the winter.

Located in the Little Nell Hotel, serving Colorado cuisine in an elegant
mountain atmosphere.

Resurrected from its closure last year, Poppie's is back with a new
chef and French, bistro-style cuisine. Service nightly in a quaint Victorian
home.
Rustique Bistro- 216 South Monarch Street, 920-2555
This cozy bistro blends culinary influences of the French countryside
with rustic décor. This is the second restaurant the famous Chef
Charles Dale opened in Aspen.

Indian

Great Italian in a fun and casual setting. Features fresh pastas, pizzas,
anti-pasti and big Italian wine selection.
L-Hostaria - 620 East Hyman Avenue, 925-9022
Traditional Italian Cuisine in a comfortable elegant atmosphere. L'Hostaria
specializes in authentic dishes including an extensive carpaccio bar.
All of their pasta is made fresh daily on the premises, and is unforgettable.
Mezzaluna - 600 East Cooper Avenue, 925-5882
This fun, high energy Aspen hotspot features salads, pastas and wood-burning
oven pizzas. Great apres spot after a long day of skiing or hiking.
The Mother Lode - 314 East Hyman Avenue, 925-7700
Since 1959, they have served fine traditional Italian specialties and
fresh seafood in a Victorian dining room.
Japanese

Japanese cuisine in a contemporary setting with two private tatami rooms.
Kenichi is famous for serving high altitude, healthy Pan Asian Cuisine
and cutting-edge sushi.

From renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, enjoy unique Japanese creations with
an international flare.

The Ajax Tavern - 685 East Durant Avenue,

The Tavern features seasonal ingredients, from organic greens to Colorado
lamb to a one of a kind Napa Valley wine list. It is located at the
base of the Gondola with outdoor dining available for lunch and dinner
in the summertime.
The Wild Fig - 315 East Hyman Avenue, 925-5160
One of Aspen's newest Mediterranean-inspired restaurants in a cozy,
friendly setting.
Mexican/Southwestern
Blue Maize - 308 South Hunter Street, 925-6698
Casual Southwestern restaurant featuring Latin American and Caribbean
influences. Also includes a nice selection of vegetarian entrees.
The Cantina - 411 East Main Street, 544-3663
With two new owners, this local favorite now features more "Mountain
Coastal Mex" fare that is inspired by Southern California traditional
and authentic Mexican food.
La Cocina - 308 East Hopkins Avenue, 925-9714
Fun, friendly, affordable Mexican Cuisine in a favorite local gathering
spot. La Cocina has great margaritas and enchiladas. Reservations are
not taken here; exceptions can be made for groups.
Su Casa - 315 East Hyman Avenue, 920-1488
Well known for their margaritas, Su Casa serves Mexican and Southwestern
specialties in a casual atmosphere.
Spanish
Mogador - 430 East Hyman Avenue, 429-1072
Mogador blends Spanish cuisine with French and Moroccan influences.
Chef Barclay Dodge offers Aspen's only Chef's Table with a custom designed,
10-course extravaganza called
"The Ten Commandments".
Steak and
Seafood
Pacifica - 307 South Mill Street, 920-9775
Seafood fare and a raw bar, located next to Wagner Park and offers outdoor
patio seating.
Steak Pit - On the corner of Hopkins and Monarch,

Named the "local's" favorite spot for steak and seafood, the
Steak Pit also features one of Aspen's largest salad bars.
Vegetarian
Explore Bistro - 221 East Main Street, 925-5338
This intimate bistro located in one of Aspen's historical Victorian
homes and at the Explore Bookstore, specializes in international vegetarian
cuisine.
Restaurant reservations are suggested for
most of these restaurants.
